The information below shows you how to use the Link Series Program to search for a series of Webpages that use a counter to differentiate the pages:
You'll find How to use a counter with pictures information on the next page.
You'll find How to use a date information on the last page of this demo.
Click on [Next ==>] in the Link Series Program to go to those pages.
Using a counter is simple and is what you'll probably use most often.
Select Use a counter.
Click [Clear All] - you can do this before or after you select Use a counter.
Verify the link address is valid before trying to link to more pages.
Break the complete link address down into a Prefix and Suffix separated by the count. You'll find a sample below.
Enter a number for the count.
Click [Set to New Values].
You're all set to start linking to the pages using [<== Prev] and/or [Next ==>].
Websites that use counters to differentiate Webpages don't always have consecutive pages.
In other words, the count often skips. This is usually due to weekends and Holidays.
I figure the links are exhausted if I don't find at least one valid page for every 7 to 10 counts. There's usually more.
Remember, the count is always incremented or decremented when used in the link. So, set the count one lower if you want to use [Next ==>] to link to the page or one higher if you want to use [<== Prev] to link to the page.
Be sure to click on [Set to New Values] any time you change any parameters or the changes won't take effect.
Select Use a counter.
Click [Clear All] to set up a clean slate so to speak.
Try linking to this sample complete link address: http://hornymosquito.com/bigtitsn25/sub.htm
Copy the complete link address to Prefix in the Link Series Program so you can test it to be sure it's a valid address.
Prefix: http://hornymosquito.com/bigtitsn25/sub.htm
Make sure Use a counter
is checked and count
is blank.
Click on [Set to New Values] in the Link Series Program.
Click on [Next ==>] in the Link Series Program. This was a valid address as of June 2008.
Now that you know the link address is valid, you can break it down to link to more pages of the same type as follows:
Prefix: http://hornymosquito.com/bigtitsn
Suffix: /sub.htm - Make sure you included the forward slash /
Make sure Use a counter is checked
Set count to 25
Click on [Set to New Values] in the Link Series Program.
Click on [Next ==>] in the Link Series Program. This increments the count to 26. 26 was a valid address as of June 2008.
You can use [<== Prev] and [Next ==>] to link to as many pages as you want to find or until they're exhausted.
A clue to knowing there may be more pages in a series is a number in the address or the pictures are numbered in a way that indicates there are more.
